EP. 21 Learn To Travel Like It Matters, Ethically!
Today on episode 21 we will be speaking to Emily & Aaron from Two Dusty Travelers
Aaron and Emily blog about ethical and off the beaten path adventures. They’re big believers that all the choices travelers make – where you stay, what you buy, who you meet – have a big impact on the places you visit. They’re passionate about helping folks make the world a little better through travel!
In addition to blogging, Aaron is a teacher and Emily is a nurse. They’ve volunteered in many parts of the world, from teaching English in Tanzania to treating Ebola patients in Sierra Leone. Having visited countries that many would label “dangerous”, they love to bust stereotypes and encourage others to go there anyway.
From renting a Land Rover in Kenya to sailing through deserted islands in the Bahamas, Aaron and Emily know from experience that getting off the beaten path leads to the best adventures. You’re likely to find them road tripping someplace where their parents are worried about them driving, sporting dusty faces and huge grins anyway.
- Ethical Travel and what that means.
- Volunteering around the world.
- Tips on how to change your mindset on travel for a more rewarding experience.
